Mrs. Isatu Binta Kamara was born in Kono and educated at the Njala University of Sierra Leone. She is the Manger of the Food and Microbiology Department of the Bureau. She is a food scientist and a trained Food Microbiologist with ten years working experience in Standardization, Food safety, inspection and food microbiology laboratory analysis. She is trained in ISO 17025:2005, Standardization and Managemnet, product testing and harmonization of test methods among others.
